The tour begins in the wonderful alleys of the Old City, following the majestic wives of Safed. You will hear all about these incredible women, who have been leading the city of Safed for years and have given it their special touch. During the tour of the Old City, we will pass through the glass blowing gallery of "Sheva Chaya" and hear its fascinating story while examining the tremendous pieces in the gallery.
After the tour, we will return to the center of Ascent, where a baker from Safed will teach us the secret of baking the Shabbat Challah bread. Each participant will receive their own dough ball, and experience the braiding and baking of a delicious challah. From the Biblical time of Sarah, there has remained a strong bond between women and Challah. We await the Mitzvah of the Parashat Hala and pray for blessing and peace for all Israel, connecting to the deeper power of femininity hidden inside all of us.

While the bread is being baked in the oven, we will listen to a humurous lecture on the differences between a man and a woman in their ways of behavior, thinking, emotions and expressions.

After our tour of Safed, we will return to our Visitor Center, and watch a video that explains the cheese and wine production process while soaking up the special atmosphere of the winery.
